Below is a calendar of key things you can be doing in your garden during the month of February.

Approximate Dates & Gardening Activities:
- Feb. 1 - It’s time to plant your edible bulbs.
- Feb. 5 - Tomato and pepper plant starts in store now!
- Feb. 8 - Have you fed/fertilized your spring plantings yet? We’ve got a variety of products to choose from—including natural and organic fertilizers.
- Feb. 12 - Valentine’s Day is on 2/14! Pick up a beautiful hanging basket, houseplant, or even a rose bush!
- Feb. 15 - Start feeding (fertilizing) your citrus—now through March.
- Feb. 19 - Check your garden for insects. Ask us about solutions.
- Feb. 22 - Plant a shade tree today and escape some of our AZ heat later...
- Feb. 26 - Prune back frost-damaged plants to promote healthy, new growth.
- Feb. 28 - New spring color is arriving in-store now...

February Planting Calendar
Plant the following edibles from 2/1 - 2/14:
- Seeds: Beets, bok choy, carrots, collard greens, leaf lettuce, mustard, green onions, peas, potatoes, radishes, spinach, sunflower, and turnips
- Transplants: Globe and Jerusalem artichokes, asparagus, chard, kohlrabi, and head and leaf lettuces
- Sets: Bulb onions
Plant the following edibles from 2/15 - 2/28:
- Seeds: Basil, beets, bok choy, carrots, collard greens, sweet corn, cucumbers, Armenian cucumbers, cantaloupe and watermelon melons, mustard, green onions, peas, potatoes, radishes, spinach, summer squash, sunflower, and turnips
- Transplants: Globe and Jerusalem artichokes, leaf lettuce, peppers, and tomatoes
