Early March

  • There's still time to fertilize your citrus for the tastiest, healthiest fruits!   
  • It's time to plant your peppers!     
  • Warm weather is back! Flowers are blooming now...

Mid-March

  • Colorful shrubs are blooming! Add them to your garden for a new spring look!   
  • Feed me! It's time to fertilize your trees and shrubs for their optimal growth and health. 
  • Now's the time for squashes and warm-weather vegetables and herbs! 

Late March

  • Anything "bugging" you? We've got safe and effective bug solutions!
  • How's the weather? It may be time to get shade cloths ready...

March Planting Calendar

Plant the following edibles from 3/1 - 3/14:

  • Seeds: Basil, beets, carrots, sweet corn, cucumbers, Armenian cucumbers, cantaloupe and watermelon melons, green onions, pumpkin, radishes, summer and winter squashes, and sunflower
  • Transplants: Globe and Jerusalem artichokes, basil, eggplant, peppers, sweet potatoes, and tomatoes

Plant the following edibles from 3/15 - 3/31:

  • Seeds: Basil, Lima beans, snap and yardlong beans, carrots, sweet corn, cucumbers, Armenian cucumbers, cantaloupe and watermelon melons, okra, green onions, peanuts, pumpkin, radishes, summer and winter squashes, and sunflower
  • Transplants: Globe and Jerusalem artichokes, basil, eggplant, peppers, sweet potatoes, and tomatoes
