Our Garden Coaches - Now Serving More of the Valley!
Our Garden Coaches are nursery professionals who will come to your home to help assess your garden challenges and suggest solutions. They have worked with plants in the Valley of the Sun for years and know how to help you create and maintain a beautiful and successful garden landscape—including edible gardening!
Whether you're a beginning gardener who doesn’t know where to start, or an experienced gardening enthusiast seeking a fresh perspective for a yard makeover, our Garden Coaches can help.

- Identification and care recommendations for existing plants
- Pest and disease identification with treatment suggestions
- Techniques for maintenance and pruning
- Recommendations for new plantings—including those that are water-wise and/or attract our flying friends (Bees, Butterflies and Birds)
- Ideas for garden possibilities
Following Your Initial Session, Your Garden Coach is Available to:
- Meet with you at SummerWinds to help you select the right plants for your site
- Provide recommendations for plant placements, based on your new plant selections

Garden Coach for Glendale Store: Aimee Dobson
- Generally speaking, Aimee serves the areas of the Valley closest to our Glendale store, as shown within the red outlined area on the map above—listed alphabetically: Arrowhead Ranch, Avondale, Buckeye, Canyon Trails, Citrus Park, Dove Valley, Desert Oasis, El Mirage, Estella, Glendale, Goodyear, Laveen, Litchfield Park, Pebble Creek, Peoria, Rancho Santa Fe, Rio Paseo, Sun City, Sun City Grand, Sun City West, Surprise, Tolleson, Verrado, Vistancia, Wadell, and Young Town.

- Aimee’s Garden Coach fees begin at $199 for the initial 1.5 hours, and increase based on the distance from our Glendale store. (Plus, you'll receive a $50 SummerWinds appreciation card.)
- Within 12 miles of the Glendale Store: $199.00
- 13-17 miles from the Glendale Store: $229.00
- 18-22 miles from the Glendale Store: $249.00
- 23 or more miles from the Glendale Store: Please email Aimee for a quote.
- Each additional half hour is $50—for an extension of the initial onsite appointment.
Garden Coach for Mesa Store, Cheri Mogensen
- Generally speaking, Cheri serves southern parts of the Valley closest to our Mesa store, as shown within the black outlined area on the map above—listed alphabetically: Ahwatukee, Apache Junction, Arcadia, Arizona Greens, Central Phoenix, Chandler, Chandler Heights, Downtown Phoenix, East Mesa, Foothills, Foothills Reserve, Gilbert, Gold Canyon, Johnson Ranch, Mesa, Mountain Park Ranch, North Mesa, Ocotillo, Queen Creek, San Tan Valley, South Phoenix, South Scottsdale, Sun Lakes, and Tempe.
