NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE DOES NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.

1. Promotion Period

The SummerWinds $200 Gift Card Giveaway (“Promotion”) begins on March 9, 2026 at 7:00 a.m. Pacific Time (PT) and ends on March 18, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. PT (“Promotion Period”).

Entries submitted before or after the Promotion Period will not be eligible.

2. Eligibility

The Promotion is open only to legal residents of California who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.

Employees of SummerWinds Nursery (“Sponsor”), its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and immediate family members or persons living in the same household are not eligible to enter.

Void where prohibited by law.

3. How to Enter

During the Promotion Period, eligible participants may enter by one (1) of the following methods:

  1. Visit a participating SummerWinds Nursery location, take a photo at the Selfie Station, post to Instagram Story, tag @summerwindsca, and follow the account.
  2. Tag a friend in the comments on the official promotional post and follow the SummerWinds' Instagram account: @summerwindsca
  3. Post a photo or video using SummerWinds High Performance Organic Potting Soil and tag SummerWinds on Instagram (@summerwindsca) or Facebook (SummerWinds Nursery - CA).
  4. Alternate Method of Entry (AMOE): Complete the official online entry form during the Promotion Period. Participants must submit their name, email address, phone number, state of residence, and preferred method of notification as part of entry.

Limit one (1) entry per person using only one (1) method of entry during the Promotion Period.
Multiple entries, entries using multiple accounts, automated entries, or fraudulent entries may result in disqualification.

All entries, regardless of method, have equal odds of winning.

One (1) winner will be selected from California.

The winner will receive: One (1) $200 SummerWinds Nursery Gift Card.

Gift cards:

  • Are non-transferable
  • Do not expire
  • Cannot be substituted or redeemed for cash except where required by law

Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if necessary.

5. Winner Selection and Notification

Winners will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries received during the Promotion Period.

Drawing will occur on or about March 20, 2026.

Winners will be notified using the contact method selected at time of entry (Direct Message, Messenger, phone, or email).

Winners must respond within 48 hours of notification. If a selected winner does not respond within 48 hours, an alternate winner may be selected from remaining eligible entries.

Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received in each state.

6. Release and Limitation of Liability

This Promotion is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram, Facebook, or Meta Platforms, Inc.

By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless SummerWinds Garden Centers Inc., Instagram, Facebook, and Meta Platforms, Inc., from and against any liability, injury, loss, or damage arising from participation in the Promotion or the acceptance, possession, or use of any prize.

Sponsor is not responsible for:

  • Lost, early, late, incomplete, invalid, or misdirected entries
  • Technical malfunctions or platform outages
  • Internet interruptions
  • Unauthorized human intervention
  • Errors in the administration of the Promotion

Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Promotion if fraud, technical failure, or other factors impair the integrity of the Promotion.

7. Disqualification

Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who:

  • Violates these Official Rules
  • Submits false or misleading information
  • Uses multiple accounts or automated systems
  • Attempts to tamper with the entry process
  • Engages in fraudulent or disruptive conduct

Sponsor’s decisions are final and binding in all matters related to the Promotion.

8. Privacy

Information collected from entrants is subject to SummerWinds’ Privacy Policy

Information collected will be used solely for the administration of this Promotion and winner notification unless the entrant opts into marketing communications.

9. General Conditions

By entering, participants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor.
