Care Tips

Plant Centennial Ruby™ Hydrangea in enriched, well-drained soil that stays moist but not soggy. Water deeply and regularly during the first growing season to help establish a strong root system. Once established, water as needed to maintain evenly moist soil.

Apply mulch to conserve moisture and help protect the plant during harsh winter conditions. Feed in early spring, deadhead spent blooms to encourage a tidy appearance, and prune dead or weak stems as needed.
