Carpet Rose Varieties
Carpet Roses are a great way to add lovely color with little maintenance. They love the sun and require a minimum of 6 hours of full sun and look great in containers, in borders, mass plantings, in urban gardens, and as ground cover. They will bloom for you spring through fall.

Flower Carpet® Scarlet Groundcover Rose
This fuss-free rose produces a profusion of brilliant, scarlet red flowers. Blooms from spring through fall - up to ten months in warm climates. Glossy, dark green foliage is mildew and black spot resistant. Highly adaptable, an excellent choice for borders, pots, and hanging baskets. Stunning when massed as a groundcover.

Care For Your Carpet Roses
Thrives in enriched, loamy, well-drained soil. Space plants 3 ft. apart as groundcover. Water deeply, regularly in first growing season to establish an extensive root system. Tolerates brief drought, when established. In zones 5 and colder, protect young plants in winter. Fertilize in spring and summer. Prune back by 1/3 annually.
